i got rid of the formation in the middle. at least partially. it made the geranium appear unwelcome. the overall color scheme is starting to define. am i on to something?

this is beginning to clear up me thinks. the lower right corner is promising. it might be a geranium after all. i do not know.

i am still enthusiastic about it! i even have made a sketch! this is unstretched canvas. primed.

i decided i would paint a still life. in oil of course. and on canvas no less. a lot of people do it, and i am no better. i do have a geranium on my window, which, many might think, is a very mundane subject to paint, especially if it is placed against a uniform light background. i am going to try at least, and if i ever make it, we will see what comes out. bear with me, dear reader.
